2022 Update: This flower is simply amazing. It has thick, luscious petals with a crazy amount of ruffles. Even with all of the ruffles, this flower spreads open beautifully. It's one of my most popular!

Tango Dos (Shooter-E., 2012)

2020 Notes: Tango Dos is in two places in the Central City yard. Both are in the east garden next to the house. First scapes noticed June 15th.

8/2020 Update:
Tango Dos is an amazing flower. It has big clusters of blooms and decent branching. It's pollen is plentiful and fertile and it has been setting pods left and right. I'm breeding this plant with everything just to pass on the high bloom count and amazing branching.

Riseman's Flame (Hansen, 1990)

2024 Update: 3 extra fans.

Color: cream yellow with rose red overlaid patterns above green throat

Parentage: ((Princess Ellen × sdlg) × (Pat Mercer × sdlg))
scape height  22 in, (56 cm)
bloom size  6 in, (15 cm)
bloom season  Early-Midseason,
Rebloom

ploidy  Diploid
foliage type  Semi-Evergreen
fragrance  Fragrant
bloom habit  Extended

8/2020 Update:
Riseman's Flame is stunning in person. She has thick petals and her diamond dusting is the most pronounced among all of my flowers. It looked like glitter was sprinkled on the petals. I used the pollen on other flowers that set pods and once I started snipping the spent blooms, it set pods as well.

Indian Giver

Color: purple with lavender edge and medium purple watermark above green throat
scape height  20 in, (51 cm)
bloom size  4.5 in, (11 cm)
bloom season  Early-Midseason,
Rebloom
ploidy  Diploid
foliage type  Semi-Evergreen
bloom habit  Diurnal
seedling #  EDF-21-89

8/2020 Update: In my garden, Indian Giver isn't the blue purple like the "official" picture. It's a red purple. It's lovely and I'm glad I have it in my garden, but in case someone is reading my blog interested in this plant, be aware that the shade for me wasn't true to the color on the daylily society's database picture. This flower is fertile in the pod and pollen.

Summore Bananas and Bubble Gum (unregistered seedling)

2024 Update: No extra fans. This is one of my seedlings. I do not have statistics for it yet. I'll update as I have data.
