'Mascara Snake' (Bachman, 2002)

I purchased this plant off the Lily Auction from Mthrnatur.


Color: dark red maroon with chartreuse midribs above chartreuse throat

8/2020 Update:This is another plant that has strong foliage, but hasn't put up a scape. The fans that arrived were very small so I anticipate they need more time to grow before I get to meet this one in person.

7/2022 -I haven't seen this one blooming my garden. Garden spot 6 has never bloomed and I lost the marker. I do remember planting very small fans in that spot. The spot has a few small fans this year. I will watch for one more year before planting something else there.
